Traditional Villages in Bali

Since 2013 Bali Government has already started the programme to create a cultural traditional villages as an alternative for tourism objects. Penglipuran Village is one of the breakthrough for this program and has been awarded as the cleanest village in the world. Each of the village will have a specific unique identity to be promoted globally, for example Mas Village in Ubud for its popular high quality wood carving, Batuan Village for its traditional painting and Tenganan Village with the original traditions of Bali Aga culture.

A visit to a place where the people still proudly hold on to their roots’ principle of life could be a fascinating journey we have in Bali, watching kids and adults doing their daily activities in their traditional costumes simply reminds us how people has changed within these hundred of years while some of us still remain the same like their ancestors.
