Museum Pasifika Bali

Museum Pasifika is the home of an extensive collection of artworks from all over the Asian Pacific region. Museum Pasifika, located in Nusa Dua, Bali, was established as a permanent institution to showcase these styles and forms for all humanity to study and enjoy. With over 600 works on permanent display, the museum is an important complement to the scores of public museums in Bali and the region. Each of the eleven pavilions is represented: Indonesian, Italian, Dutch, Indo-European, Exhibition, Indochina, Polynesian, Pacific, Tapa and Asian, with engaging and insightful articles by some of the world’s leading art experts.

Pasifika Museum is considered as a new museum, compared to other museums in Bali. At the Pasifika museum, we can find collection of artworks by artists from all artists in the Asia Pacific region. This museum is more like an Asia Pacific Art Center, but still did not quite like a museum in 2004. In 2006, the art center turned into a museum, due to the growing number of art collections and its location in the center of Nusa Dua area, makes this museum gets visits from many tourists, especially foreign tourists. The visitors of Pasifika Museum are increasing every day, from hotel guests in the Nusa Dua area, schools, tourism industry and of course art lovers.

This museum is located in Blok P, BTDC Area, Nusa Dua. For those who stay at the hotels in Nusa Dua area, it is very easy to get into this museum, you can walk or go on free shuttle bus that available in most hotels At Pasifika Bali Museum, there are 9 rooms designed to showcase various art objects based on the origin of the artists, such as: Indonesia, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Indo Europe, Thematic Exhibition, Indo China, Chen Shen and the Premiere Art of Vanuatu.
