It used to be recognized as the supplier of good quality seaweed back in years ago, but since the tourism took over the business on the island many locals started to convert their profession from seaweed farmers into other functions. East of Lembongan village there is a yellow suspension bridge connected to Nusa Ceningan Island, this island shares some similar natural attractions just like two other bigger islands. Beautiful beaches and viewpoints can be explored by foot or motorbike since this island is only about 3 square kilometers. Nusa Penida is the easternmost island in this group, within these past few years this island has been growing fast as the refreshing tourists destination, offering a signature activity diving with the monstrous sea creatures such as Manta Ray and Mola Mola Fish.
