Junggutbatu Beach

One of the two main beaches is called Jungutbatu, where also the boats dock. It is a white sand beach fronted by a peaceful bay where seaweed farmers practice their trade. Small hotels and restaurants line the coast. At high tide it is great for swimming with the whole family, but note that it is full of local boats, and the water can be slightly dirty. At low tide you can sit on the beach with a drink and look out over the seaweed farms, watching farmers collect their crops. There is good snorkelling farther out in the ocean as well as three great surf breaks, Shipwrecks, Lacerations, and Playgrounds, all of which can be reached by boat.
